Mohammed Tasiu Foundation

The Mohammed Tasiu Foundation has paid courtesy visits to two primary schools in Gumel, Jigawa State of Nigeria. these visits took place on the 27th of November in 2018 as part of the foundation’s mission to improve education in Nigeria. The two schools visited were the Dahiru Atta Primary School and the Nasoro Primary School in Gumel.

Speaking with the pupils of the school, the chairman of the Mohammed Tasiu Foundation, Major General M.T Ibrahim (rtd) advised the pupils to work hard at studying so that they can have an advantage for a better tomorrow. he encouraged all pupils to give respect to their teachers so that they can learn and develop as much as possible.  He used the opportunity to reminisce about his own days as a primary school pupil in the same town of Gumel at the erly stages on his life.

The foundation also urged all pupils to strive for unity as this is one of the only ways that Nigeria can progress as a nation. The members of staff were also urged to give their all in the development of these pupils no matter the situation. They were reminded that their job is molding the future leaders of the country and thus is one of the most important as they hold our future.

Mohammed Tasiu Foundation donated books, pens, pencils, erasers, and other stationery to the pupils and staff of Dahiru Atta Prmary school and the Nasoro Primary school. The head teachers of both schools appreciated the efforts of the foundation and urged all members of the country, both in the public and private sector, to emulate these gestures and aid in the development of Nigerian education.
