Mohammed Tasiu Foundation

An award of merit has been presented to the Mohammed Tasiu Foundation by the Sheik Gumi Primary School Old Pupils’ Association.

The award was presented as a recognition of the foundation’s contribution to the development of the school and other primary schools in Kaduna State. It was presented at a ceremony celebrating the establishment of the school and the giant strides of its graduants.

At the event, the executive chairman of the Kaduna State UBEC appreciated the efforts of the foundation and praised its chairman. the UBEC chairman was represented and he declared that this award for service to humanity and providing conducive structure for effective learning was very well deserved.

Mohammed Tasiu Foundation have embarked on visits to primary schools across several states in Northern Nigeria including Kaduna, Jigawa, and Kano encouraging pupils, staff, and donating various materials to them. Visits have been made to Sheik Gumi Primary school  earlier in the year.

The award was received in good faith as a representative of the Mohammed Tasiu Foundation appreciated the administration of the school for the gesture. He explained that the aim of the foundation was to enhance a better world regardless of the recognition that the award brings.

The ceremony which took place on the school premisis in Tudun Wada, Kaduna was attended by a representative of the Kaduna State Governor, the executiv chairman of UBEC, several notable guests, old, and new students of the Sheik Gumi Model School
