Visit to LGEA Malam Gumi, LGEA Unguwar Sanusi

The LGEA Unguwar SanusiĀ  and LGEA Malam Gumi primary schools hosted representatives of the Mohammed Tasiu Foundation on the 9th and 10th of October 2018. The visit to the schools was part of the monthly visitations to state owned primary schools to donate materials and encourage the staff and pupils. The schools visited this month of October aresituated and managed by the Kaduna North Local Government.

The headteachers of the schools appreciated the visit of the foundation and led the group to the classrooms, libraries and other facilities in the school. The teachers also described their experiences working with the young pupils and the challenges that they face while they go about their noble duties.

The chairman of the Mohammed Tasiu Foundation, Gen. M.T Ibrahim took time out to speak to all the pupils in their respective classrooms. The students were encouraged to give everything as they strive to attain education. General M.T Ibrahim also urged all the pupils to embrace all Nigerians as one people and strive for coninued unity in the country.

General Ibrahim pointed out that the volunteers that accompanied the foundation to visit the schools hailed from all regions of the country. some of the volunteers were from Oyo state, Kaduna State, Abia state, Ondo state, Taraba State Kano state , and more.

The Foundation donated writing materials such as pencils, biros, erasers and other stationery to the students. The staff members also received notebooks and other materials to aid them. The headteacher of LGEA Unguwar Sanusi expressed her gratitude to the foundation and encouraged well meaning Nigerians to continue to contribute to the development of the education sector.

The future of Nigeria lies in the hands of the coming generation and it is our duty to ensure that it does not fail. Whether we are in private sector of government officials, we should do our best for the coming generation so that they can enjoy an improved life.
